This Cookie Policy explains how ja-ai.co.uk uses cookies and similar technologies. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include local storage and pixels. Some are strictly necessary to make a site work; others are used for analytics or to remember preferences.
What we use today
Our website is a static site and sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. As at the date above, it sets no non-essential cookies at all.
One point of transparency: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, served from Google’s servers. Retrieving them means your browser contacts Google and shares your IP address. We plan to self-host these fonts so this no longer happens.
The law (and what changed in 2026)
Under PECR as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (in force from 5 February 2026), some low-risk cookies no longer require consent — for example, first-party analytics used only by us, and cookies that remember your display or accessibility preferences — but we must still tell you about them and give you a free way to opt out. Cookies that are not exempt (for example third-party advertising, or embedded tools that track you) still require your consent before they are set.
If we add analytics or booking tools
- If we add first-party analytics, we’ll describe it here and provide an opt-out.
- If we add a tool that sets non-exempt cookies (for example an embedded scheduler such as Calendly, or third-party analytics), we’ll show a consent banner and only set those cookies with your consent.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This won’t break the site, because it doesn’t rely on non-essential cookies.
